MARJORIE GIORDANI, PRINCIPAL
Meet the Principal, Marjorie Giordani.
Principal Giordani was raised in Carlsbad and attended Carlsbad High School. She attended the California State University Long Beach on a golf scholarship and earned a B.A. in Economics. She later attended National University for a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Masters in Educational Leadership, and an Administrative Credential.
Principal Giordani began her career with Carlsbad Unified in July 2006, as an Assistant Principal at Carlsbad High School. In 2011 she was selected as Principal for Poinsettia Elementary School. Before coming to Carlsbad she taught 1st and 5th Grades in Oceanside Unified and dedicated 9 years to Guajome Park Academy in Vista in a variety of roles to include Math and Science teacher, Dean of Students and International Baccalaureate coordinator.
Ms Giordani lives in San Marcos with her husband and daughter. She has 4 children. Joshua, Chase, Shane, and Katie.
Ms. Giordani's passions include watching her daughter play softball and her son play baseball. Spending time with family and friends and golfing.
