Covid Policy

Your child will need to remain home if they have any of the following Covid symptoms:

Possible symptoms include:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

Please call the attendance hotline at (760) 331-5470 if your student is out with one of the covid symptoms. They may return to school if they have a negative at-home (antigen) COVID test, symptoms are improving, they have been fever free without fever reducing medications for 24 hours, **and are vomit/diarrhea free for over 24 hours. We have covid tests in the office if you need them.  

Students who do not get tested may return on the 6th day from having symptoms

**Students with any vomit &/or diarrhea MUST be tested

Please notify me if your student tests positive.

Please contact the Health Tech if your child tests positive for COVID. If you need an at-home COVID test for your child, one can be picked up in the Health Office. The Health Tech, Shelby Schuler, can be reached at (760) 331-5490.
